My great-great-grandparents are also William and Christene (nee Sutherland)McKay from Sutherlandshire. They had three children in Scotland, then emigrated to Oxford Co., Ontario. Their children were (in order): Donald, Johanne, Alexander, Ellen/Hellen, Christene, William, Margaret and George. Could there be a connection?
