Isabel Mackay circa 1832

My great great Grandmother was Isabel Mackay, born in Ireland. She married a James Lynch about 1850. Family lore indicates she was related in some way to John William Mackay (Dublin, Nov. 28, 1831). He later became one of the "Silver Kings" of Virginia City, Nev. The daughter of James and Isabel, Anna Lynch, was born in Braidwood, Scotland in 1852. Anna married John Lauder Shanks. The Shanks family came to the U. S. in 1877 and settled at Streator, Illinois. Looking for information on Isabel MacKay's ancestors.
