Elizabeth MacKay 1700's
Posted by: Weston Taylor Date: November 02, 1998 at 11:22:34

Elizabeth MacKay was my 4th great grandmother. Her mother's name, according to the scanty information I have, was Barbara MacLeod. This is basically all I know about Elizabeth MacKay. I believe she was born either in Scotland or Ireland in the 1700's and married my 4th great grandfather, had several children, and was widowed. She married again and had no more children. My 4th great grandfather's name was John Tompkins, son of Giles Tompkins. John is supposed to have been a Rev. War soldier, and eventually became a judge in Glynn County, Ga.
Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Weston Taylor
