Looking for any info on my g-g-grandfather Robert MacKay who came from Aberdeen, Scotland with the 78th Highland Regiment to Quebec in the 1880's. He retired and may have been granted land in New Glasgow, Quebec, which no longer exists as a community, but was in Terrebonne county. He died 01 January 1905 at age 60 in New Glasgow, Quebec.
