I have great interest but probably no help for you. I am trying to sort out the Scottish roots of my 6ggfather, Donald Mackay, who came to GA in 1736 with his parents James Mackay & Barbara Mcleod Mackay from Durness. I have some GA information on Mackay/Baillie connections and some possible connection with Captain James Mackay, who was an officer with Oglethorpe. I would be most grateful for any information you might be willing to share.
Thank you.
