Documentation help..where to go?
Posted by: Stacey Date: November 11, 2000 at 16:18:51

Does anyone know of a good source to obtain records in Scotland. (an online source would be great if there is one) I'm looking for such things as Birth , deaths etc.
I think i've been able to trace my Mackay line correctly, its gets sketchier once i get past Donald Balloch Mackay (i know i'm good to this point). I'm sure there isnt much in the way of documentation considering the time frame. But is there some where to look for lineage records? Where maybe a verbal history was put to paper? I've found so many different lineage records on line that folks have posted. Rather they are documented or not i have no idea. No indication.

Help.
