Since posting my previous query, I have traced ANGUS McKAY and wife, JANE (Jean) SUTHERLAND to Aldborough township in Elgin County where they settled in 1818.
Their daughter, ISABELLA married the Rev. ALEXANDER ROSS, first minister of the New Glasgow Presbyterian Church.
JANET married ARCHIE McFARLANE and lived in Wallacetown, Elgin County, until her death in Jan 1918.
JOHN married MARGARET McBRIDE and, like his father, farmed in Aldborough twp and was an elder of the New Glasgow Presbyterian Church.
ANGUS McKAY died Jan 17, 1871 at age 80. His wife JANE died Feb 20, 1880 at age 88. Both are buried in Black's Cemetery outside Wallacetown next to daughter ELIZABETH who died May 14, 1901.
Did they have other children?
