I am looking for information on the parents and siblings of my great-great grandfather William MacKay who was born in New London,
PEI in 1823. According to census records from 1891, his parents were both born in Scotland. He married Elizabeth McKay from Sutherlandshire, Scotland on Jan. 24, 1848. Their children were Donald (1848 - 1903), Barbara (1860-1871), Louisa (1852-1999) &
Alexander (1858-1941).

If anyone has any information on early MacKays in PEI that might be connected to this family, I would be most appreciative.
