Our Great-great-great grandmother was named Jessie MacKay and married in Pictou, Nova Scotia to her first cousin Duncan MacKay. Duncan's parent's are James & Anna (MacDonald) MacKay. I believe Jessie (Janet) was born to Donald MacKay and Barbara MacKay.
They migrated from Scotland to Nova Scotia, then to Illinois ( Whiteside & Carroll Counties). Do we have a connection?
