Family tradition says that ALEXANDER MAC KAY was probably born in or around Durness, on Cape Wrath, Scotland. We are also aware that he and his brothers might have had neighboring farms at the outbreak of the American Revolution, as he and his brothers took up arms on the side of the colonies. He was my gggg-grandfather, whose daughter, the first of nine children, Margaret was my ggg-grandmother. I am looking for connections, and it may be that we share some.
