I am looking for the Paternal Linage of Robert Mac Kay who was born in 1734, and joined the 42nd regiment, on or about 1757. He was born in the Parish of ROGART, Town of DORNOCH, county of SUTHERLAND. Also, has anyone written a book about the Mc Kays in the 1600 to the mid 1700's
