You may already have this information. I have in my notes a christening of son Robert to WM McKay and Jannet Gordon, April 25, 1813. Also a christenting of a son Robert to James McKay and Christy Gordon, Sept. 8, 1813. Both of these took place in Farr, Southerlandshire, Scotland. I am looking for a Robert McKay born Oct. 13,1813 probably in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
My Robert ended up in Ohio, along with an Archibald McKay. Any connections you can detect from this information? Did any of your ancestors go to England first? My Robert was said to have had brothers and sisters that came to the US.
I am interested in hearing from you.
