Wow-I think it might be-I won't get too excited yet until hubby gets home-its his line. But, there was also the surname Murray in the tree somewhere which is where my hubby got the middle name Murray from. Any chance your Alexander was nicknamed Piper? From what I have read-Dornoch was a departure point for many Scots. Oh hubby hurry up and get home LOL.
