Mackay family in Springhill, NS, Canada.

I am looking for connections, or ties to my grandmother's side (my dad's side).

John Mackay was a justice of the peace. My grandmother was not totally sure, but she mentioned he married Mary MClellan. She was pretty sure that was her name.

They had children. Oliver (my grandmother Alice's father) born in 1889 I believe? He had brother's Tom, Carr and Angus Mackay. I don't believe he had any sisters.

Oliver Mackay (my ggrandfather) had some daughters, and sons. They include my grandmother (Alice) born in 1924, Beatrice, Leona, Margeret, Ivy and Geneva. My grandmother is the youngest sister, I believe. Oliver's sons were Harold, Harry (or Harold)and Ronald (nickname Bud) Mackay.

If anyone has any info, it would be greatfully appreciated.
Thank you.
