I saw you posting about the frequency of Alexander Mackay name in the Sutherland Fancibles. Could you please do a look up for me? I have a Alexander McKay or Mackay who married in 1825 and was a shoemaker in Perth. He could have died serving in the military after the birth of his son in 1829. Maybe being a shoemaker would give a clue as to his whereabouts and place him in the fencibles. Thank you much for looking.
