Notice from ''The Times'' London, England, October 2, 1916....page 1., column 2:

"MACKAY-COGHILL-Previously reported wounded and missing on Sept. 25th, 1915, at Givenchy, France, now officially presumed killed in action on that date, CAPT. HUGH MACKAY-COGHILL, 4th (attached 2nd) Highland light infantry, second son of the late Dr. J.D. Mackay-Coghill, and husband of Margaret Mackay-Coghill, Rosebank, Cookham, Berks, aged 36."
