Hi there... My grandfather was born William Mackay, on March 1,1889 In Scotland, (where I don't know) he played the bagpipes, when he got older he and my grandmother Dolly Mackay (maiden name: Jelly )(who came from Ireland) moved to New York. They together had 6 children, William Jr, Dorthy, Elizabeth (known as Betty), Eleanor, Lois and Richard. My mother was Lois Kathryn McKay, born February 17 1928, when My grandfather came to the U.S. He changed the spelling of the last Name... McKay.
My mother and most of her siblings, I believe are gone, the last I knew is that Elizabeth (married Robert Rank of Buffalo Ny) passed away in 1996 or 1997. I also believe that my Uncle Richard McKay (wife Anne McKay, father of Erica and Alan of California)started to put together a family Tree... I would be interested in any information, Hope I could help you, Thank You, Robin McKay Dunlap Born May 17,1962, Married August 9, 2003 (In Ohio)
