Many thanks for the response, but I don't have any record of a George or Della McKay. If the name is actually Mackey or Mackay, that wouldn't be my relatives anyhow--they definitely spelled it "McKay."

I actually found my McKays some months after posting the message. I did reach one of them, an old woman in Tulsa who refused to talk to me. Then a cousin of a cousin came up with a few leads, one of which turned out to be the right family. There aren't very many of them, but I got plenty of information from them. It's a gfeat feeling when one of your family quests is successful.
