I am looking for any information on a Donald MacKay who was born in Sutherland. Donald was an exciseman and he married a Janet/Jessie Chisholm in Portree in 1861. They had 4 children - Effy born in Portree, John George born in Urquhart, Inverness-shire, Dorothy born in Inverness and Donald born in Old Monkland, Glasgow.
