Hi All,

Looking for information or cousins of Donald Mackay born in Latheron in 1787. He served with the 92nd Highlanders in the Napoleonic Peninsular war, including Waterloo and then became a Chelsea pensioner on his discharge in 1816. He died at Latheron in 1853.

He married Elizabeth McDonald in 1825.

There are 4 known children:
Barbara 1826
Alexander 1829
Christina 4 Jun 1832
Margaret 24 Mar 1836

Alexander is listed as a Master Tailor at Lybster on several documents. He married Mary Brown and had one known child to her, James Brown Mackay born 1829 in Latheron.

Any cousins or other infromation would be greatly appreciated.
