In your posting, you mention Donald Ewen. I am trying to track down my gggrandfather. His name was Donald E. MacKay and was born in East Lake Ainslie in 1832. He died in Glace Bay, Cape Breton in 1912.

Most of his sons moved to Boston during the last 10 or 15 years of the 19th century. I don't have any information about his parents.

Do you have any other information you can share about Niel's brother, Donald Ewen that you mention in your post?

Thanks
Dan MacKay
