I too am looking for a Francis Mackay but possibly a son,mine died in 1814 as a result of wounds from war of 1812,he died fighting for the British in Niagara,he had 5 sons and 4 daughters at that time,his wife was a Christina Metler and she remarried after his death a John Steel
