Hi all I am researching Alexander Mackay and his wife Christine Brown I have Alexander,s father and mother as John Mackay and Margaret Sutherland.
Alexander and Christine had children :
Margaret (1826) who at the age of 24 came to Victoria australia with husband Neil Gordon
Janet ( Jessie )(1824)marr John Sutherland in 1851 east Langwell also came to Victoria in 1851
Alexander (1827)
John (1829)
Helen (1831) Marr John Mackay
Catherine (1835) Came to Victoria.
James (1834) died as a infant
James (1839) came to Victoia .My great great grandfather. Somebody must be connected to this family Love to hear from you. I have much material and will share.
