Hi Kim,

My Father Andrew (NMI) Macko was born in a small town called Komancha that is now in Poland. He was born either in 1925 or 1927. I don't know alot about the family history, many things he never talked about so I don't know names. His father died shortly after he was born and he lived with his mother, grandmother, and uncle. His mother remarried and had a daughter. He was drafted by the Germans a few years after the Poland invasion and faught for them for most of the war. After the war he imigrated to the US and moved to the Syracuse, NY area to stay with an Aunt. I apologize that I don't have a lot of data and fact. My oldest sister knows the family tree a little better than I.
