Mike, where in PA did your relatives settle. I am married to a Joan Macko descended from Frank Macko and he descended from Joseph Macko. Erie and surrounding area.....

Frank had four siblings we think, John, Albert, Helen and Anne. Frank was born c1919.

There is a family tradition that the name was shortened or changed but no one has a clue about the from or to.....

Joan has a teenaged nephew still living in the Erie area and just getting into researching his family as well.
