I am not sure if this will help, but let's give it a whirl. This is based on a telephone conversation I just had with my father, GEORGE PAVLOV, of Hamilton, ON. His mother was HELEN PALKO (1904-1987) originally of Krucov, Slovakia. HELEN PALKO married JOHN PAVLOV (1899-1965?) and had three sons, JOHN (1925?-1990), GEORGE (1941-), and MIKE (1943?-) as well as a daughter MARY (1923-1930) who died in 1930 in Krucov at the age of 5 of diptheria.

Okay.

HELEN PALKO'S mother was named MARIA (nee) MACKO (1875-1918). She married JAN PALKO and they lived in Krucov. They had been next door neighbours. MARIA MACKO had a brother MIKE, a sister ANNA, a brother ANDRIJO (all that is known of ANDRIJO is "deceased, Cleveland Ohio on the family tree) and another brother JOE.

JOE MACKO had 6 kids: ANNE MACKO of Cleveland, MARGITKA (married a KOCKO of Cleveland), JOE JR. (drowned in Cleveland, no dates), JOHN, HELEN, and MARY.

This is all I know. Please contact me, and I can pick my dad's brain further, if you have more to share. :)

Jo Pavlov
Hamilton, Ontario
