The first thing you should furnish is the village in Slovakia from whence your relations came from. Could be a village from the old Austrian-Hungarian Empire prior 1918 after which the Slovaka became part of Czechoslovakia.
I have checked out the 1930 Census for Cayahoga County, Ohio (Cleveland). Found Maczko family living in Bedford, Ohio, believe they came to Bedford from Pennsylvania.
My family tree shows Maczko's from the village of Jaklovce.

Can you determine what village people came from?
