I'm guessing that you have gotten some of your information from the Nova Scotia Vital Stats website at
www.novascotiagenealogyl.ca
If you take a close look you will notice that the Angus B MacMaster who died in 1953 was the son of John MacMaster and Catherine McDonald, a railway section foreman and born Nov 15, 1870
The Angus MacMaster who married a Catherine Mcdonald (and you must remember that in Cape Breton, Catherine McDonalds are extremely abundant)in 1913 was the son of Donald and Jessie and a truckman.
I think the family that you are looking for is the following. You can access the 1901 and 1911 Census at
www.automatedgenealogy.ca
1911 Canadian Census Inverness Co.#8, Creignish Page 2
All surname McMaster, all born NS, all Roman Catholic
Angus, head, born Nov 1871, occup-railway section man
Kelty (this seems to be a family petname for Katherine) Wife, born Mar 1870
John Dan, son born Jan 1901
Hugh son born Mar 1902
Annie May dau born Jul 1903
Kelty dau born Mar 1906
Mary dau born July 1907
Jane aunt, single born Apri 1840
