I have discoved even though my ancesters live at Cluny Castle they were probably tennents. The uncle the "Red Murdoch" was probably of the same age as the Cluny and grew up together. The "Red Murdoch" stayed with the Prince and the Cluny until the Prince left Scotland. Whe the Prince and "Red Murdoch" parted the Price gave him his Dirk which stayed in the family until abt 1900. William McPherson died and with with his death all that he knew and had except for what is in "Glimpses ...".
