I have an Angus Macpherson, born Brae Ruthven, Kingussie and Inch, Badenoch, Inverness, Scotland in 1788 and married Katherine McCrae. They were the parents of Donald (b 1823), Marsley (b 1826), Elizabeth (b 1828), Penny (b 1829), James (b 1830), Isabel (b 1832), Ann (b 1835), Kenneth (b 1836), May (b 1838), Elset (b 1840), Elizabeth (b 1842) and John (b 1845).

They emigrated to the Crieff area of Puslinch in the 1840s.

The Wellington County Historical Library has an excellent research department and photographic collection of that area.
