I am interested to hear from anyone that may have a connection to, or any information on, the family of Donald MacPherson listed in the Portree Census 1891 pp2-3 District 4, Penifiler, Isle of Skye.
Donald MacPherson, aged 40, born Kilmuir, fisherman (Parents: Angus MacPherson, born Sleat, fisherman & Katherine (nee MacPherson born Portree)
Kate, wife, aged 25, born Portree (nee Maclean? - second wife)
Effy, daughter, aged 10 (born to mother - first wife Janet, nee Macdonald)
Johanna, daughter, aged 3
Angus, son, aged 2
Additional information: Donald's Grand Parents on his mother's side (ie Katherine's Parents were: father Alexander Macpherson, born Portree, Crofter - mother Chirsty, both of Katherine's parents living in Balmeanach in 1851 and 1861 Census).
