Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

You probably need some places to go along with your names & dates. The basic reference for Macraes in Scotland is "History of Clan Macrae with Genealogies," by the Rev. Alexander Macrae in 1899. It was reprinted in 1976 by Gateway Press in Baltimore. It is still in print, I believe, and available through the Clan Macrae Society which you can access online. If not, the book is available in most genealogical libraries.
