Hi! Mary,

If you relate to the Torlysich line you would definitely relate to my line. Mine are also mentioned in the McRae book with their descendants.

I would not be able to meet up with you as I live in Sydney, Australia. I am a member of Clan MacRae NSW and I am involved in about 4 other clans as well. I belong to the largest McRae family in Australia.

We are looking forward to our gathering in April next year and are expecting probably over 1,000 people who will be attending. Roger McRae from Armidale (a cousin) is organising the gathering.

We will be holding Brigadoon down at Bundanoon (Bundanoon is down in our southern highlands about a 4 hour drive south of Sydney) where all the Scottish clans meet every April and thousands attend. A lot of the Scottish clans produce their clan histories and genealogies on the day and one can walk around and meet many of the clans that relate to one another. Brigadoon is our highland games and is one of the main attractions for those of Scottish ancestry.

Sorry I cannot meet up with you. Glad to know that I am in contact with another cousin. I was in the States two years ago and at the moment I have no plans to travel there at present.

Regards

Sue Catterall
