There is some letters from the Civil War written by a Billy B. McRae to his family back in Chesterfield County in the Chesterfiedl SCGS Chronicle in the Spring edition. It is really interesting reading about the McRaes of Kinail Scotland and there is a pub there that has the inscription "Welcome to Kintail.
The home of the McRaes
Known for their good looks
and their war like sports"
There is a Donna Teal Littleton that I corresond with that has much history of the Teals and McRaes. We were e-mailing for a while when she asked me if I had a Henry J, a copac auto, when I was in the Army. Come to find out she was the baby sister of my girl friend when I was stationed in Virginia She had no pictures of her sister or any good ones of her mother. I had saved a half dozen and sent them to her. Would love a copy of the wills you have and will send you some of the info that I have. My email is
