Bruce -

I am very interested in your Samuel Teal will. Do you have any idea how old Samuel was when he died? This is the best information I have seen on a possible father for my William C. Teal. William and Isabella McRae Teal had several children. After she died, he married again -- a Charlotte Holland and had still more children. I have a copy of Isabella's will, but it does not shed a whole lot of light on her background. She, Margaret, and mother Elizabeth are listed in the widow and orphans book of Barbour County. I also have a copy of the newspaper notice of the lawsuit over land filed against William and Isabella by several named persons. I have not found the court records regarding that lawsuit. I live in Washington state, even further than your Colorado. I would love to share information with you to see if we can get this whole thing pinned down even more clearly. Clarajane Teal Goux
