Here is the info my Aunt sent to me;
My great great grandfather(which puts the date at mid to upper 1800's) was Alexander MacCrae he married a Mary Matheson. There children were:
Mary Belle
Annie or Anne
Duncan or Donald
There may be more, I don't know dates but am working on it.Mary Matheson had a brother John Matheson who married a Chrisy MacDonald. They could have been in PEI, Know for sure that they were in Ontario before going to Michigan.
Elizabeth married my great grandfather MacCauley Matheson. They had my Grandfather Bert Matheson. They died at an early age(my grandpa was still a baby) and his grandparents Alex and Mary raised him.
His Aunt Mary was called Aunt Mame, she was the youngest and lived until the 1970's and I remember her.She lived in Detroit.
That is all I know, I'll try to get back to you with the dates.
We may be related because families often repeated names.
