I do not know much about this family. I have been trying to untangle the weave of the many McRaes living in Anson County during the 1790 to 1850 time frame. Thus I saw the will that connected the two families. I picked up the wills during one of my trips to Anson County. I have made copies of all the McRaes living in Anson county in the census records during the 1790 to 1850 time frame but I did not do this for the Teals. So I could not help you on the age of Samuel Teal but you should find that information in the 1850 census. That is the first census that gave detailed information on the families. I do remember seeing several Teal names in the census records and land transactions but I made no notes about them. Based on the names in the Samuel Teal will I would guess that William and Allen are not brothers but maybe cousins. Regarding the two wills, I would be more than happen to e-mail them to you. I enjoy helping others with their family histories especially since we are working in the same county. I would enjoy getting a copy of the will of Isabella Teal as well. Right now other priorities are taking all of my time. But I will take the time to e-mail the wills to you if you want them. Let me know!
