I would be interested in finding details of this family after 1881. I have their marriage transcription: vol 11 pg 236 (Stormont Co): John B. McRAE, 28, farmer, Glengary, Roxborough, s/o John & Catherine, married Mary Ann BARNES, 19, England, Roxborough, d/o James & Nellie?, witn: John & Margaret McRAE of Roxborough, 9 June 1871 at Osnabruck BUT - I wonder if the parents of Mary Ann should read Nuttle and Jane BARNES? There is a death for a Nuttle McRAE 1 Aug 1878 age 7at Roxborough (recorded as Nettie McCRAE) who I suspect could be their son. Here is the 1881 census: John MCRAE M Male Scottish 39 O <Ontario> Laborour Presbyterian Canada Mary Ann MCRAE M Female English 28 England Presbyterian Canada Daniel MCRAE Male Scottish 7 O <Ontario> Presbyterian Canada Jane Ellen MCRAE Female Scottish 5 O <Ontario> Presbyterian Canada George MCRAE Male Scottish 2 O <Ontario> Presbyterian Canada Alexander MCRAE Male Scottish --- Born: Mar; 0 O <Ontario> Presbyterian Canada -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Source Information: Census Place Roxborough, Stormont, Ontario Family History Library Film 1375863 NA Film Number C-13227 District 101 Sub-district C Division 3 Page Number 7 Household Number 27 Please can anyone help me with any other info on this family?
