If I had more information on what the document was since there was no will it would help. Also, during this time frame women often had to go to court to get their Dower Rights when a husband passed away and this often invlved her having to literaly sueing her children for that Dower. Having the Daniel that has passed away was a way to show howmany children there were because the dead childs share would have gone to the remaining siblings. So without kmnow what the document is that you are looking at this is as close as I can get to any assistance
