Have you done research on Macraes at Kintail for the 1700s and 1800s? I have 3 Macrae lines living in Kintail in the 1800s at Inverinate, Killilan and Camuslinnie as well a Macdonalds at Carr, Kintail. I have not been able to connect any of my Macraes to the Macraes mentioned in the book "Clan Macrae" written by Alexander Macrae in 1899, although I am sure they are all related.
