Finally I clicked on to you. Duncan McRae was my great-great-grandparent. I do not know how much you know about him. I will tell you what I know. He worked for the Hudson bay co. He help build the fort near Selkirk. It is called lower fort garry. He also help build a few churches-Old St.Andrews on the Red River-St Peters church on the eastside of the Red River. He worked very closely with the Rev.Cochon. Duncan was married to Charlott Smith in 1842,nov.1o,near to the middle church, not quite what church this was but I know that it is near Selkirk. Duncan 1813-1898, charlott smith 1822-1894. I think they had 11 children, that I can find. Have more information. I have the list of the childrens names.Duncan and Charott are buried at the Little Britian church just south of the Fort.A placque was erected in his honor. Please if you have any information on Duncan,s family in Scotland, like brothers and sisters. Also his parents names Thanking you SandyMcRae Vnuk
