I was wondering if there was a rubbing done on Elsie's tombstone? I can't tell whether she was 53 or 58 when she passed away and thought that it could maybe narrow down her state of birth.
I found this obituary yesterday but haven't been able to sort through it all. Thomas R. Madden's son, George P. Madden, was killed after an injury in a canning factory. It lists some additional spouses of his sisters, but I'm not sure which one is which and was wondering if either of you have any more information on it. http://www.shelbycountyindiana.org/obituaries/obit_madden.htm
