I am researching my great-great-great grandfather, Samuel Cooper Madden b. in New York abt. 1770-1780. He was married to Anne (maiden name unknown)born 1781 in CT. They had son James, b. in NY 1814 and son, Samuel C. born abt. 1819. Anne died 1871 and in her obituary it references her husband, Samuel C. Madden and her son James, living in NY. A census in 1800's shows that at one time she was living with son, Samuel C. and his family of 8 sons (Oscar, Joel, Samuel, Albert, Henry, Louis, Allen and Charles) and mother Emily (Davis) born in CT. If anyone can make a connection with this family I would be so appreciative and would welcome information. Thank you!
