Josiah & Polly (Betts) Maddry in NC

Josiah Maddry was my ggg grandfather. From what I have been able to find so far, he was the son of Joseph and Margaret Womble (Wombwell) Maddera.I I've found him in Wake Co 1790 Census with 1 son & 1 daughter. I found in Church Records that Margaret Womble was a member of the same church as Josiah and Polly. I also have a copy of the marriage bond of Josiah and Polly Betts.
I think that Joseph died in Wake Co (prob now Lee Co or Harnett Co) & that Margaret moved in with the family. Josiah and Polly had 12 children. Josiah was apparently a miller by trade but tired of the business & decided to try farming in Orange Co. He moved the herd to Orange Co (close to Chapel Hill) to try farming. However, rocky soil is not good for anything (except a school for higher education & liberal thinking) so Josiah uprooted & moved again. 2 of his sons had married women who refused to leave their families so they remained behind. One son was Abel (my gg grandfather) and the other was John.
Polly was the daughter of Andrew Betts and Sally White.
I hope some of this helps. Feel free to email me for more info.
