MRS. WALTER SCOTT--With suddenness that was appalling came the summons to Mrs. Mary MADEIRA SCOTT, the beloved wife of Dr. Walter SCOTT of West Second Street, who was suddenly stricken about 7 o'clock Friday morning at her home. The cause of her death was acute dilatation of the heart. . .
Mary Louise MADEIRA was the only daughter of the late John M. and Effie RENICK MADEIRA. She was born March 8, 1871 in this city [Chillicothe, Ohio].
She attended the public schools and graduated from the High school. She later attended Wilson college at Chambersburg, Pa.
June 10,1902 she was united in marriage to Dr. Walter SCOTT. Their married life was ideally happy. . .
She was a regular attendant at St. Paul's Episcopal Church and an active member of St. Catherine's Guild.
