Hi Charles

I am not sure if I am answering your question or not but here is what I know. A John and Isabelle(maiden name unknown) Madison appear on the 1850 Cumberland Cty Ky census they are both born in North Carolina. I have that they had 10 children, Samuel Green being one of them(he is my 3rd great grandfather). Samuel Green's death certificate doesn't give his parents but based on their proximity in the various census I feel like Samuel is a son of John and Isabelle. I have some information on this family - more on my direct line than the others - will be glad to trade with you.
