Andrea,
In reference to your query regarding Isaac Madison. Adventurers of Purse and Person Virginia 1607-1624/5 published by the ORder of first Families of Virginia, 1607-1624/5 shows Isaac Madison died at West & Sherley Hundred sometime before 1624. The muster of Mrs Mary Madison Widow age 30 years came in the Treasurer in 1618 and had a child Katherin Layden aged 7 probably from a prior marriage living with her. There is no evidence that Isaac had any issue.
There was a Thomas Madison in Old Rappahannock County who first appeared there in the 1660's. He had a wife Ann who signed several documents with him. This Thomas died testate and names his wife as Katherine when he died. HE appears to be the same person because of the land he bought and sold. There is no firm evidence connecting Isaac to any descendants. Margaret Amundson
