Christian "Chris" Madsen (b. Feb. 25, 1851 [or 1847] Schleswig, Denmark/Germany-d. Jan. 9, 1944, Guthrie, OK) Quartermaster Staff Sergeant, 5th Cavalry Jan. 1876-1890; Deputy U.S. Marshal for Judge Parker and the Western District Court of Arkansas 1890-1898, Rough Rider 1898, US Marshal for Oklahoma 1910-1920. He married Margaret Morris of El Reno (Oklahoma) c. 1889. They had had two children, daughter Marion born c 1890 (m. ? Derr and lived at Guthrie, OK), and son, Christian Reno Madsen, born in 1891 [or 1890]. Christian Reno Madsen worked for the Santa Fe railroad out of Memphis, Tennessee. Any information on the family would be greatly appreciated.
