I am looking for the family of my grandfather, Francis Matson, born 07 Mar 1906 in Hutchinson, MN. The family lived in Iron River, Wisconsin. According to the Iron River Pioneer, his mother, Christine died Nov.24,1914 after giving birth to a son. She left a family of eight children, her husband Jurgen, her father, two brothers, Torvel of Orienta and Lager of Bessemer, Michigan, and two sisters, Mrs. A. G. Nelson of Orienta and Mrs. Christ Betker, living out west.
The children were adopted out by other families. Francis was adopted by Tony and Mary Madsen. He married Clara Swedin in 1926 and they lived in Northfield, Rice County, Minnesota. He had an older brother named Carl. Thank you for your help.

D Tammaro
