I'm looking for information on a New Zealand J. Madsen who was living in Horopito in the 1910s. Possibly he owned land in Horopito,Manganui and also National Parks. After he sold the general store in Horopito he may have enlisted and been wounded around 1918 (a J. Madsen also listed as living in Horopito). There seems to be an Auckland connection. Could it be Julius? Thanks...
